An ex work colleague was visiting from South Wales and wanted to go to a pub that did 'Desi' food because there isn't any where he lives, I  had a few options to pick but after hearing the Pendrell Arms is under new management thought we'd give it a go, and it was certainly the right choice. I haven't seen a portion size that big for a long time, my large mixed grill was massive, and the flavour was massive too. The staff are just brilliant and very informative, and obviously they've got a great chef. The pub is one of the most ambient pubs I've been in and the atmosphere was electric. Had a fantastic meal at The Pendrill in Codsall! The mixed grill was absolutely fab, cooked beautifully and really enjoyable. Great food, generous portions and a lovely experience all round. A special mention to Paul, who was brilliant! Friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome. Excellent service makes such a difference, and Paul certainly delivered! We’ll definitely be back.
